He holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Ife, Ile-Ife, now Obafemi Awolowo University. He is an accomplished and seasoned Chemical Engineer.
Engr. Agbola worked in several departments at the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) where one of his major tasks was the supervised of the Warri Petroleum Refinery from construction to the commissioning stage. He had various national assignments including serving on the Technical Committee on Petroleum Product of the Standard Organization of Nigeria, Secretary to the Technical Committee that prepared the NNPC crude oil products Stock Management and the Standardization and Harmonization of Reporting Procedure. He had over 25yars cognate experience before retiring from the Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR).
